Arlo Pro 2 camera wifi names? Is there a way of telling which camera is which?

Hi

I have 6 cameras set up in my townhouse which has 4 floors, below I have broken down the set up by floor:

1st floor - 2 cameras, 1 x BT wifi Hub

2nd Floor - 3 cameras, 1 x Arlo Hub, 1 x BT router

3rd Floor - 1 camera, 1 x BT wifi Hub

I added the additional 2 BT wifi Hubs as I struggle with 1 camera on the 2nd floor and 1 camera on the 3rd floor receiving wifi signal. The camera on the 2nd floor is located in my garden, approx 5 metres away from the hub (BTW it is only in the last 3/4 months this camera has started to drop out, it was fine for many months!!) and the one on the 3rd floor is literally next to the BT wifi hub and above the Arlo hub, albeit the floor above.

When I look at my BT router it appears all cameras are linking to the router and not the Hubs on each floor,

So my question is: Is there a way of telling which camera is which, when I look on my router to see what is connected (and I do have a lot connected!!) what I believe are Arlo cameras are just referred to as letters and numbers rather than something straight forward like "Arlo camera 1" on my app I have renamed them to the relevant areas they are in, can this not be carried through to the main router? Thanks in advance!!

Pro2 cameras can't connect to your home wifi - they only connect to the base station.

Thanks for your response and I didn't even take that into consideration.

So the only solution, which is too expensive in my opinion is to get a second or third base station? That does leave me thinking that if you live in a well-insulated new build house or have a larger than average house (i only have 3 bedrooms but over 4 floors)  Arlo isn't the right product for you?? That's not good news for Arlo given the number of new build houses going up.

With the Pro2, you'd need another base station to expand the range.  I use two myself.

But if this is a new problem with an older installation, then perhaps something recently changed which reduced the range?

Some of the newer cameras (the video doorbell and the pro3 floodlight) are able to connect either to home wifi or a base station.  So this is on Arlo's radar (though I doubt they will put that feature into the older ones).
