Hi guys
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I have 3x Arlo Pro 2 cameras all with the same setup, genuine Arlo Outdoor Power Adapters connected to the same base station.
One of the cameras has started refusing to charge. It is never been moved so plugs etc have not been damaged. I have tried both the charger and the battery from one of the other cameras which I know are working and no luck. I have also tried the battery from the faulty one in another camera and it is fine so appears to be the camera itself with the problem.
The faulty camera is 1 year and 1 month old so just outside the warranty but Arlo support seems really difficult to get a hold of in these situations. I'm just using the included free subscription too with the 7 day rolling storage so don't want to upgrade my account.

there are several things to try...
first read this;
By using a pencil eraser, gently wipe the battery terminals and the terminals in the camera to make sure there is no corrosion on them.
Try the camera WITHOUT the battery as the power supplies should function the camera after removed.
Last, it to check both the power supplies and usb terminals/port to verify all looks ok ( as best as you can )

There's a small ribbon cable between the USB port and the main camera body that would be used to charge the battery. A few folks have somehow damaged that cable so charging no longer works. There are no parts for sale so you'd need to charge the battery in another camera or buy the external charging station (I'd also buy an extra battery).

If the camera is running on battery ok (just not charging), then you could just get an external charger and continue to use it. Awkward, but it avoids trying to get a new Pro 2 camera.
