Arlo Pro 2 VMB 4000 battery indicators stuck at 100% and 96% for several days

Have had battery status reporting issues for some time.  Sometimes I have to move baggeries around when I change them to get the indicator to change from the low percentage that was shown previously.  Now three of my cameras show 100% and one shows 96% after several days of recording.  Everythisg else works fine.  I have tried removing the battery for several minutes and replacing it, resyncing the camera, and rebooting the base station.  I read in previous posts that incorrect battery status indications could have been caused by firm ware but that was in 2016.  Could that still be an issue?

It could the FW that was recently released to stop excessive battery drain is working well
