I've recently invested in two Arlo 2 Pro, base station, outdoor PSU and a few mounts.
I can't seem to get zones to work. I can define Zones on the camera that is connected to the PSU constantly, but my definitons seems to be ignored.
Then I read this:
How do I set up the Arlo Smart cloud activity zones?
Note: Arlo Smart is only available in the US.
Am I using Arlo Smart when I setup Zones and is that the reason that I can't get it to work?
Thanks.

Zones for Arlo Pro 2 and Arlo Smart are two different things. You should be able to use the zones with the Arlo Pro 2 that's plugged in. Can you take a screenshot of your zones?
The other thing to remember is that even if physical objects don't enter the zones, their IR reflections can eg a large truck drives past the house and the zone is set for the edge of the road - this can still trigger the camera
