Will I achieve this when plugged into the Arlo solar panel ?

"When plugged in, Arlo Pro 2 uses a pre-buffer to record the three seconds before motion is detected"

Thanks in adcance

No. This feature requires AC power sincee it enables the camera to be active and streaming the whole time. The solar panels don't provide enough current and wouldn't be generating power in the dark anyways. The solar panels are just another way to charge the battery, not a way to run the camera.

So you mentioned plugged in , is that via the battery charger power supply ?
If I want to keep the power on 3 cameras what power supplies do you recommend I use ?

It needs to be plugged in using the USB charger. It's best to use the Arlo charger since it supplies both the 5v needed to run the camera as well as 9v needed to charge the battery.

If needed, use a QUALITY charger and cable that support the Qualcomm Quick Charge capability to power the extra cameras, something that supports the latest Samsungs, for instance.
