all you smart people out there. I am almost ready to throw these cameras in the garbage. I cannot, for the life of me, set up the schedule and automations the way I want. The old system used to be so intuitive, but I have lost my way despite Google and YouTube. Here's what I want to accomplish:
Standby - 07:00 to 22:30, then Arm Away 22:31 to 06:59.
I would like to get geofencing working so that when I leave during those "standby" hours, the system would switch over to Arm Away. I don't really have much use for Arm Home (using it currently because I cannot seem to get the simple schedule above to implement). Also, when we travel for exended period of time, I need Arm Away to STAY ON and not revert back to the schedule. Some screenshots of what is currently in place. Happy to add more images and answer questions as needed. Please, please guide me to success!

I don't have a solution yet but I'm kinda glad to know that I am not alone! Hopefully, someone will tell us just what we need to do.

It appears you're trying to use custom modes for the scheduling. Custom modes aren't fully implemented yet so use the "normal" schedules and modes instead.

Okay...the screenshots are the only options available to me. I don't know what "normal" mode is (but it sounds good!). Can you elaborate with instructions or post some pictures? Appreciate it!

Normal = NOT custom modes/schedules.
Use the "+" at the top and choose Add Schedule. Do NOT go into custom modes and use that schedule selection.

The '+' gives me a drop-down menu as shown in the attached pic. I cannot find anything on the app or the website that gets me into a simpler, normal mode.

Well, you really need "Arm Home" from 22:31 to 06:59. (And that is what your automations do).
One problem is that your 10:30 pm automation is always enabled. It needs to be disabled in "Arm Away". You can do that by going into the "Arm Away" mode and disabling that automation there.
"Standby" has the opposite problem. It needs to be enabled in "Arm Home". Otherwise it won't run (since the system is in Arm Home mode at 06:59).
When you add in geofencing, you want the "Arrive" automation to be ONLY enabled in "Arm Away", and you want "Leave" to be enabled in both "Arm Home" and "Standby". You'll have to choose which mode you want "Arrive" to switch to. If you switch to "Standby" you'll need to manually switch to Arm Home if you arrive home after 10:30 pm. If you forget, the system will be disarmed until the following morning.

The "+" I'm referring to is in Routines, not Dashboard. Routines is where you edit modes and create Automations.

Thanks, Guru, I appreciate your help, and I am going to try these things.
Still, it is WAYYYY more complicated than it needs to be. The setup of the old app was intuitive. This is not.

Try my suggestions in post 8. They are just a couple of small setting changes. You don't need custom modes to do what you want.
