I currently have 3 cameras. I am moving and will only require to keep 1 camera (which is on a subscription). I currently have a hub and I was going to give the other 2 cameras (not subscribed) to friends.
Will I still require the hub or can that be given to the friend with the 2 cameras?

Arlo Pro 2 doesn't require a subscription as it comes with a free 7 day cloud storage, unless you want to extend the length of the storage to more days.
Regardless of how many Pro 2s you'll keep, you still need a SmartHub or a base station, as Pro 2s don't directly connect to your WiFi. So, you should keep your base station but if you wish to use next gen cameras like Ultra or Ultra 2 in the future *and* record locally (as these don't come with free 7 day subscription), you'll require a SmartHub.
