Hi guys,

I've got a continuous 9V power supply (not dual 9v/5v). Will it still work for Arlo Pro 2? Can I continuously feed the 9V to the camera and keep it running? Any damage expected?

Yes, no harm to the cameras at 5v if battery is removed... just make sure it supplies about 1.5a+

You should only use the proper Arlo charger.
It may be that the 9V for charging drops to 5V when the battery is fully charged and the camera is just needing 5V to run. You could definitely cause damage to the battery if it overcharges it eg fire, explosion, think Note 7...

What if I take the battery out, and then run the camera on 5v ? Does that work? I'm happy to let go of the battery advantage...
