You are not required to have an Arlo Smart subscription to use Geofencing. You can read here to learn how to set up Geofencing: How does Arlo Geofencing work and how do I set it up?

Hi JessicaP, I went through the geofencing steps, the system still indicates my location is not detected. My mobile phone is set for GPS tracking, works on maps to track my location, and also logs where I have been. Also now I get motion detection as before but the library is a day behind to watch videos. The motion was detected and recorded but can not view until the next day. Live video works. Not sure if that is related to Geofencing not working.

What phone device are you using? Have you tried reinstalling the Arlo app to see if that helps? And are you able to see your library videos from the web client on your computer?
