Arlo Pro 2 Base Station Offline

Has anyone been successful plugging their base station into a "smart" plug so they can remotely cycle power off/on and reboot the base station?

We've been suggesting this for years now, especially for folks that are remote from the installation for long periods of time. While I don't have a base plugged into one (it and my modem and router are plugged into a UPS) I have used it on a Q camera with great success.
