To temporarily turn off motion detection, you should use the default "disarmed" mode in the modes tab on the Arlo mobile app.

To temporarily turn off incoming calls and chime on button pushes, you can enable silent mode in the doorbell settings. For instructions on how to enable silent mode, see here: https://kb.arlo.com/000061923/How-do-I-enable-silent-mode-on-my-Arlo-Doorbell
