Notification delay

Why is there a few second delay between when a camera detects something then sends me a notification? It used to be in live time.

The delay you're experiencing is due to Arlo Smart analytics. When motion is detected, the camera will communicate with the Arlo cloud to determine what caused the motion and send you a categorized notification based on your Arlo Smart settings. In most cases, this delay is very minimal but is necessary to allow the cloud to analyze the trigger and make the appropriate classification.
