It is possible. You can get a camera that connects directly to your home wifi (none of the currently sold cameras are compatible with your old base).
You will need a subscription though. Your legacy cameras were sold with free 7-day storage, but none of the current models have that.

Hi Stephen,
thank you got your reply - I guess my options would be to upgrade the entire system? The camera you mentioned that’s possible with home WiFi would that be an Arlo camera?
thank you for your help

No, you have several other paths.
- You can add new Arlo cameras to your existing system (connecting them to your home wifi instead of the base).
- You can upgrade the base, and connect your existing cameras to it
- You could purchase a second base + cameras, but leave your current base and cameras as they are.
You will need a subscription to get cloud storage.

Yes. Most of the currently sold Arlo cameras can be directly connected to your home wifi. That includes the
- Floodlight
- Pro 5s
- Essential
- Video Doorbells
The Ultras do require a base.
