I'm trying to connect my base to the app. It's a 3LED version. All 3 LED are solid green. I've followed the onscreen instructions on the app and it cannot find my base still. Any ideas?

You selected the home security section but are talking about a base station - 2 different things. WHich base is it? The bottom should have a label with VMBxxxx.

The fact that all 3 LEDs are green means the base is already in someone's account. Is this a new install or is it a used base? For the latter, the original owner needs to remove it from his account before you can claim it into yours.

I apologize. I didn't know where else to put it. It's my base with my account. I switched my wifi and it no longer connected. I followed the instructions on the app and it's connected (3 green LED) but still will not show up on the app.

The fact that you see all 3 green LEDs on the base means it's working. The base has nothing to do with your WiFi since it's connected via the Ethernet cable. However, it should certainly show in your app or the web client on a computer browser (my.arlo.com). Are you getting notifications and/or recordings?

You can try rebooting your router and base, in that order, to see if that helps. It would still be useful to know the model of your base by looking at the label on the bottom for VMBxxxx.

It's VMB4000. I got the base connected to my app finally. I had to reset it. However now it says the cameras cannot connect to the network. Notification says must be 2.4GHz to connect.

Did you try ignoring that advice?

Of course. The app won't find the cameras. Just keeps giving that notification. That's why I'm in here trying to get help.

What model are the cameras?

Is this a new install?  Or are the cameras being reinstalled to your account?

Quite a few people have reported issues with installing (or reinstalling) legacy cameras.

You could try browsing to my.arlo.com on a PC - that sometimes does work when the app fails.

They are reinstalled. They seem to be connected to the base which appears on my app. The cameras do not. I will try not using the app.
