When are cameras are sirening, our phones always have made a siren too.

But that has now stopped?

And now I see plans that require additional payment to get sirens on our phone during sleep.

Is Arlo taking included features and making them paid? What is going on..

— More background info —

We pay for Arlo Secure already. Now we see features in a new “Premium” plan that lists getting Arlo sirens on our phone during sleep. Seems Arlo is trying to take an included feature and make us pay even more!

Hi @daniel60000

Can you provide more detail regarding this symptom? Is your chime 2 not making a siren sound? The Arlo app does not have a feature to make a handheld device "Phone" siren.

Yes, the Arlo app receives push notifications. The app has made a "siren" noise when it receives notification of an ongoing Panic/siren event. This has been the case for several years.

See this KB: https://kb.arlo.com/000063063/What-are-Critical-Alerts-and-how-do-I-set-them-up-on-my-Arlo-Secure-Ap...

You can watch a video the App sirening after being notified during sleep.

Now this is "Premium plan" only feature.
It used to work on our phones without this plan. Now Arlo wants us to pay more.

We already pay for Secure Multi camera. Now Arlo wants us to pay for this previously included feature.
