I’ve had this system for about 4-5 years, I haven’t been receiving notifications so I looked at the app now I have to buy a subscription? That was the main reason I bought this system years ago I didn’t have to pay monthly sub on it. How long ago did this start.

What model camera?
The subscription requirements began back in 2018 with the release of the ultra. Models prior still retain the free 7days cloud storage if still active.

Have you tried removing a camera from your account and then adding it back again?

No you think that will work? It was the app update that I noticed it.

It has been a common problem for a lot of customers to loose access to their legacy cameras because of the 7days free cloud storage that disappears.
Re-importing the Cameras has resolved the issue for most but some require a resync of their account by arlo support.

@Doddball - if this works for you, removing and readding one camera will restore operation of all the cameras.
I'm tagging the mods - @BrookeN , @JamesC . @ShayneS , as they can also do a back-end resync of your account.

@Doddball are you still seeing this same behavior? I have ran the resync, however it does take 24hrs before noticing the change in the behavior you are seeing.

Should I still remove and re add my cameras or wait 24 hrs to see if resync worked?

I would wait if you have not already did the re-sync. And then if you do not see a change in behavior by tomorrow, then go ahead and do the remove and re-add of the device.

To resync I just push the button on the top of the base?

Nothing has changed yet, should I go ahead with deleting the cams and adding them again?

No. You remove one camera from the account. Then add it back. The add can be done using the manual sync push-button method if you like - briefly pressing sync on the base, and then briefly pressing sync on the camera.
