I am testing my Arlo Go and I want to know if I turn off the night vision will that automatically turn off the PIR lights when recording? There are times I would want it to record but wouldn't want the lights to turn on for an intruder.

The IR LEDs are what lights up for night vision. The PIR (passive IR) sensor doesn't light up and is what detects motion.
You can turn off Night Vision in the camera settings but then the LEDs will never turn on. It's an all or nothing approach. Use of external lighting would likely be the best solution.
