All worked fine until new UI.
It is a real pain to invite friend and family into the Arlo interface, unless they are selftaught computer wizards or at least born after 1980 there is now way invites are successful.
1. Why do people need to accept invites from mail on a computer instead of the unit in use for the service, ex phone?
2. Creating a new user is more than often failing when doing so in relation to the invite, registration must be completed outside the invite process
3. The 2 minute window to verify the unit depends on the users skill to navigate between browser and email program, if on the same unit the 6digit passcode page dissappears when switching tab or program
4. If, by a miracle, all of this succeeds one must once again try to navigate the UI to get the camera visible on the dashboard.
5. The migration between old and new UI is not described anywhere, but by reading lots of complaints online one may discover that due to faulty programming adding a new specific device (Arlo Pro 5) prompts the option to migrate to the new UI. The fact every single user needs this UI to get friend invites to work should force a migration on all apps.
6. What used to be a free service, playback of own recordings remotely, is now a subscription service even if memorycard is installed.
Arlo, the hardware is top notch, but the software is a joke.
