Hi, I´m not sure about the camera name if it´s Pro 2 , Pro, or Pro Go... it has been burn in a housefire and I try to help to find more information.
I try to find how to read metadata in the file Mpeg4 I get from the lawyer. He did get it from the police.
I only find this, no real name of the file and there is about 26 of them, all same except the time and small details in file size etc. I haven´t change anything, could the police have change the filenames to 1.mp4 2.mp4 etc in the each sequence?

Okey, now I have try on my camera Arlo Go for 4 days and take the files down, to see how the numbers works, it shows diffrent type when I take it from mobile or computer. From mobile I get date and time, and from computer a long string with number I have to convert to get the date and time.
So the files I get from the lawyer are changed because the name is 1mp4, 2mp4 etc. There also is time lapse about 3,5 and 5 minutes I don´t know what happens, if there was files and they are deleted, or what... difficult to prove I think. If someone has any idea how to go further so please send private message, I close this case now. Thank you.

Yes, the names can be changed, esp if done as a group copy....
What I noted tho is that it is small format for those cameras at 640x352 and frame rate seems slow.
Of course it may have been converted.

Hi TomMac and StephenB!
I don´t know so much about this camera and how they work, but I try to learn. I haven´t change anything, just get the file to try read the metadata.
Will it be an original filename when it´s recording? And if so, how will it be shown when you see the file first time?
Not just 1.mp4 2.mp4 etc, then I think the files have been renamed with numbers, that´s my guess.

ARe the videos still in the cloud on the Arlo servers? If so, download them again - the date and time are in the filename.

Hi, No, the files are from 06-11-2020 and I have the time and date, see my first message what I get in the "mediainfo".
I´m looking for how it shows when you take it down from the could, if the file has any name, metadata?
My files I got from the lawyer and he has got them from the police, if they have renamed the raw files to 1.mp4, 2.mp4 etc...
So, now I have ordered the same camera Apro Go Mobile was the name, but I have to wait til next week before I get it... I will try to see what it shows if I can handle it, but I ask here also then it seems to be a big knowledge here. 🤗

I'm no expert but at the very end of your details that you posted in the first message, the encoded and tagged date (which have the same data) should be the recording time. I just checked one of my videos (not from a Go camera) and these match very well with the recording time shown by Arlo.
