Hello, I have been using Arlo Go since 2020. From 2020 until August 2025, I was able to get free 7-day cloud storage. However, starting in August 2025, it stopped working, so I had to buy a subscription to continue using the 7-day cloud storage. Why was my free storage terminated? Is it possible to get the free storage back, as it was for the past five years?

It seems a shame that you had to get arlo support to fix the arlo forever 7days free cloud storage by buying a forever subscription.

 

Just be aware that you are at risk of being forever subscription charged even if you cancel the subscription.

You should contact the office of fair trading in your local authority to report that. I was ashamed to have Arlo branding at the front of my house as a result of these practices so I removed it - I cannot offer my support to a company at all that employs devious practices just because they hadn't thought through their business model properly in the first place.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. You should still have access to the 7-day rolling cloud storage for the Arlo Go camera. I am escalating this to the team for further review and will also request a refund for the subscription you purchased.

I also cannot see the free 7 day cloud storage in the app. Neither can my parents. How will this get fixed?

I also cannot access the free 7 day storage on the app. We have 2 Pro 2s and 3 Pros. My parents also cannot access the 7 days on the app.

I see you do not have any rules set for your modes. Can you try adding some rules for your devices and let me know if you're still experiencing this symptom?
