Suddenly the buttons on the app (over the GO 2 video) disappeared and I could no longer record video or take a snap shot.
I simply reinstalled the camera and everything is back to normal.
However, this time I installed the camera to my WiFi.
My question is this: How do I know that the camera is still using my the phone number it came with? Is there a way to test it, other than turning off my WiFi? Which I guess might be the plan.

I've seen this on occasion and it's not just with the Go 2. A force close of the app and reopening should help.

I turned off the web and sure enough, couldn't get the camera to work. Having been in the "hi tech industry" for years, I performed everything you can do including reinstalling the camera. Verizon finally gave up and is sending me a new sim card. So, we'll try that.
