LTE won't save as network default

Hi I've been trying to save LTE as network default for the cam but it always goes back to Auto after saving.

I save it and it looks like it's saved, so I go back on the app to check immediately after and it shows auto as default.

I've only set up the cam to use LTE I've never set up wifi.

I'm concerned it is wasting power pumping out a wifi signal.
