my Arlo essential spotlight camera doesn't want to turn on and when I hold the power button I hear the camera shutter close and open with the accommodation of a red/amber slow light then it does it again and then its just a red/amber color. when I have it plugged in it is just a solid red/amber color. I have had this camera for 2 years and never had any problems with it. I can't find the serial number on it and I don't have the original box anymore so support said they couldn't help me.

There is no power button.
It sounds like the camera is faulty and it also sounds like the warranty has expired so no RMA is possible. Have you used a magnifying glass to look on the bottom of the camera, perhaps under the flap, for the serial number? If the camera is still shown in your account, the serial number will be listed in the camera settings.
