okay now that i have calmed down
Arlo essential camera I get to the scan qr code it beeps but never finds the camera.
I have tried installing from the app as well as my computer.
I know my router is on 2.4g.

The beep just confirms that the camera read the code.
After the beep, check your router's attached device list and see if the camera shows up there.

Ok. Are you sure you are choosing the right model?
- Essential if your camera has no spotlight
- Essential Spotlight if your camera has the spotlight
- Essential Gen 2 if you have one of those.

I'm essential spotlight. and yes choosing the correct one
I can connect them to my wifi but the arlo app doesn't recognize them

Best to check your router's attached device list after the chime, and see if the camera is there. The chime just confirms that the camera was able to scan the QR code.
If it is there, then try onboarding again using a PC (my.arlo.com). Connect the PC to your router with ethernet if you can.
