hello i don't get my chime 2 linked to my arlo doorbell essential
Already I have scanned the QR code there is a message below (see picture).
This Wi-Fi connection that then appears in my overview of available Wi-Fi connections on my Android mobile asks for a password that I do not know.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Can you translate that message in the screenshot for me? I'm an Ugly American with no second language capability - sorry.
What should happen is that you connect to the temporary WiFi set up by the chime which has no password - it's an open connection for the purpose of communicating the actual WiFi you want the chime to connect to. Perhaps you're choosing the wrong one?

Can't reach Arlo_2dCr
Make sure the chime you scanned is closed
Please try again, this was the text
Only after you scan this Wi-Fi connection will it become visible
On my phone with contact 100%

FWIW, Google Translate says "make sure the chime you scanned is connected".

this was the text that became visible after I scanned the Wi-Fi connection On my phone overvieuw available networks with contact 100%
The connection requires one password which I dont know
Is it possible that a neighbour who has the same doorbell/ chime, disturbs the signal?

It's a temporary wifi network created by the Chime2, so it can receive the real network info.
The network is open/unencrypted - it shouldn't be prompting for a password.

In my case, a password is required so that I get stuck with the installation.
Can this be circumvented in any way?
I won't get any further than that.
In the explanation there is no mention of a temporary network that I should use.
There is a sync button on the side of the Chime 2, I tried everything with it, but that also yielded nothing

sjenneke,
You should be able to connect to the temporary network and then you will be asked for your home network information, which is whatever SSID/Password you're using for your home network. To connect to the temporary network in the first step, your mobile device may need to be quite close to the Chime 2, within a few feet.
