My Essential XL Spotless has been up for a little over a week now and three times has stopped reporting motion detection or saving anything to the library. It doesn’t not alert my phone or the person who I have shared access with.
If I restart the camera it appears to temporarily fix the problem but within two days it stops again.
It is still reacting to the motion (the light comes on at night when motion is in front of it).

Try deactivating the camera in Settings, Smart Notifications to see if that makes a difference. Perhaps Smart is discarding the videos.

Having a similar problem except the light doesn't turn on either. reboot helps for 8-10 hours then they stop detecting motion again. I've had my cameras for over a year and they started doing this about 10 days ago.

That’s when my issue started. I just got off the phone with support and they tried saying it was my internet connection at first but then agreed if it keeps occurs to call in again and they will replace it.
