Hello,

I bought three VMC2030 cameras and can't connect them to my account nor wifi. I get to the point of hearing the sound when the camera faces the QR-code, but after a while it just says no camera detected 😞

I have a joint 2,4/5GHz network but have also tried adding it to a separate 2,4 network.

I bought the camera used and the previous owner states that she deleted her account, without removing the cameras from her account.

Could this be the problem?

Anyone else have some idea?

Dep`ending on how she deleted her account, that could be the case. If she used the app to go to Settings, Privacy Center, Delete Arlo Account, that also removes all devices. ANy other method doesn't do so.

Is there a way to fix it? I'm in contact with the seller if that helps! :S

You'd first need to verify how the original account was "deleted". If not by using what was mentioned above, she can likely try logging in as before or attempt to create the same account as before (same email and password). That should allow her to view any existing devices and remove them. She could also use the previously described process to permanently remove all her devices and account.

OMG. Hired tech people to put in and they couldn’t even do it. Two of them! Ridiculous.

Don't waste your money on tech people. Essentially, the owner must remove the cameras from her account. If she doesn't, neither you nor anyone else will be able to use the cameras. It's a feature that prevents unauthorised people from accessing your cameras, for example when they're stolen.

I'd not think it'd be possible to re-create an account with the same credentials and with devices still being associated with it, but maybe so.

I bought them new and they worked. Registered to me. Then I moved and haven’t been able to use since. I did the complete delete account and reset, however that didn’t correct it. At this point I’m over it. Going to buy a different brand.

Please don't post in this thread if your topic is unrelated to that by the OP's, as is now clearly the case because your cameras are new whereas the OP's used cameras. This confuses everyone. You should start a new topic.
