I recently purchased a home with 4 security cameras VMC3030 and aVMB3500 base station. Everything was working fine before I purchased the house because I was able to log on as a guest and view the cameras. After purchasing the house the previous owner deleted his account helped set up a new account for me. We then attempted to put the equipment onto my account.
After numerous attempts that all failed to find the base station or the cameras I set the system aside. I’m hoping somebody can offer some advice to get the system working. On the base station the top and middle lights are green, with the middle light flicking occasionally. The bottom green light is NOT On.
I think all my batteries are dead in the cameras, so I thought I would buy four batteries to furnish one camera to continue trying to get the System working. Even without the cameras shouldn’t I be able to see the base station on my account?

Also Is it possible that if he did not delete the equipment from his account before he closed it that the equipment is still registered to his deleted account? If so how can I go about getting the equipment into my account?

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

In addition, you can try holding the reset button on the base for >10 seconds, until the LEDs flash amber and try again. That won't help if the base is still in the original owner's account as noted above but may help if it is clear.

Very possible.

Note only Arlo can delete the account - it can't be done from the app.  So he should be able to log in, and see if the cameras are still there.

Thanks to both of you. resetting the base station allowed me to add it and after putting new batteries in the cameras I was able to add the cameras. After I had the system working for some reason it was sending a message to the old owner also and kicking me off.. we solved that issue (hopefully) by having him delete his Arlo app.

As of last night I set up my day and night schedule and hope to find the instructions on setting up geofencing for the iPhone soon.
