Hello there, I just bought essential spotlight camera but I’m not sure if it’s the right choice between arlo’s camera.

I need to record almost continuously, I’ll put the camera in high-medium traffic contest of people, so can the batteries camera support the recordings at least 1 or 2 months?   Which arlo camera is convenient for this purpose? Is possible to use the arlo cloud to check the recordings live and to back and forth ? Many thanks

No battery-operated camera will support (nearly) continuous recording for long. You have a choice of either buying the outdoor charging cable or the Essential indoor camera. Either way, you end up using AC power instead of battery (the indoor camera has no battery). Is this for an outdoor location or indoors? The indoor camera is not weather-proof so has to be protected but may be useful looking through a window since it uses pixel-change detection rather than a PIR (passive IR) detector which fails looking through glass since the glass blocks the needed IR.  You would need to disable Night Vision since that would provide a glare off the glass, making the recording useless.

Ok but how far does  the essential spotlight camera frame? More than 3 meters? Thanks

What do you mean by that?  The camera focuses to infinity.

How far away does the camera watch clearly? Since in its spec says that this camera is good for small medium space. Many thanks

It's the resolution that limits the clarity at distance, and it's a 1080p camera.

Mine is aimed through a window, and captures the street about 50 feet away.  If you zoom in the image, there is of course limited detail.  But there is enough clarity to see people, pets, and vehicles.
