Is any one else experiencing an essential camera that no matter how you have it set from a sensitivity level, and all the other settings cut way back, and the camera doesn't go off all that often from a motion perspective, the battery drains very fast. This camera was charged at 100% less than 72 hours ago and there has been no motion to set the camera off and it is now reading 85%. Any feed back?

It kinda sounds like the camera has a poor connection with the base or router, depending on how you set it up. House construction, distance, stuff on/in the walls in the signal path, etc. can all cause problems with battery life.
As for motion detection, read the FAQs here in the support section of best camera positioning as well as how to change the sensitivity in your modes and rules. Remember that PIR sensors only detect people out to ~25 feet.
