Night Vision stops working

I purchased an Arlo camera to monitor a rat trap at night.
All was fine for 24 hours and now the night vision just stops working after a couple of hours after being armed every night and I just get a black screen and you can just about see movement and it is still detecting that movement.
If I restart the camera it starts to work again for a while but I can't stay up all night to check whether or not the camera is working that would completely defeat the point of having a camera in the first place!!
It is on a schedule and that works fine it is just the night vision that stops.
I feel it may just be this camera so may request a return through Amazon and order another and try that but in the meantime any suggestions?

If removing and re-onboarding the camera doesn't help, I'd swap with Amazon.
