However, the Essential can be connected to your home wifi, so it doesn't need a base.

You will need a subscription for Cloud storage though - Arlo stopped offering free 7-day cloud storage on new models some years ago (2018).

Thanks for your response.

I have another problem. I got a new phone and when i tried to login I got the message that it doesn't recognize the device and sent a push notification to rondo. don't know where to find the push notification. it is not in my email, where else can I look ?
