Hi, I have a simple question.

 How to turn off my system while the house is being used?

But also to turn it back on remotely with my phone once the house is empty and security is needed?

Typically, you would use the Standby or Disarmed modes when you want them off and then Armed Away or Armed when cameras are to be used. Note that there are two different user interfaces possible - the new one that uses Feed to view videos or the old one that uses Library. The modes mentioned above are in that order.
