FIXED! Constant Hissing / Static / White Noise on all Video & Live Stream from Outdoor Camera

Arlo Essential Camera - constant static, hiss, white noise - FIXED!

Sharing a quick fix for an audio issue I had on my Arlo Essential outdoor camera. I noticed the once clear sound had been replaced by a constant static / low hiss that covered all other audio.

Support and online troubleshooting solutions didn't work. 

Solved this problem with Blu Tack – roll it over the microphone repeatedly. Push it, squish it, whatever works for you. 

IT WORKS! IT REALLY WORKS!

I live on the coast in a humid climate, windy city and have had constant construction opposite my house for three years.  Even though the camera and microphone appeared to be clean, it was getting the same treatment as my car which is covered in a layer of dust every morning.
If you're having audio issues with ANY of your devices (phones, airpods, computers etc), I recommend a $4 packet of Blu Tack. You will be very pleased with the results.
