Essential XL Camera triggers an alert, but does not stream.  I have three Essential XL camera.  One works fine.  The other two will trigger an alert on my phone when they detect something, but they do not stream any video.  If I try to connect to the video using my phone, the two in question will not connect.  I can run a connection test, and they both show "good" or "strong".  The camera that fully works is connected to a WIFI extender.  The other two are connected to my dual band router.  I have tried deleting the two from the system and then re-adding them to the WIFI extender.  The two worked fully for less than a day, then got in the state they are in now.  Likewise, when I deleted them from the system and re-added them back to my main router, they worked for a short time, but then failed.  Please help.

Are the two problem cameras in a subscription plan?

Did you try swapping the cameras, and see if the problem moves with the camera (or not)?

None of the cameras are on a subscription plan, other than the 30 day one that is the default.

The problem seems to be temperature related.  It has been in the 40F's or below day and night recently.  If I bring the cameras indoors, they both start streaming as they warm up.  (I should note the proximity to the WIFI hub when indoors is similar to when they are installed outdoors.)  Now that it is warmer outside during the day, the cameras seem to stream OK.  As it cools in the evening, they do not stream when triggered.

So they are still on the trial subscription?  (I don't know what you mean by 30 day "default")

My wife got these through HSN and they came with a 90-day free trial.

They must have been old inventory, since Arlo reduced the trial to 30 days some time back.

You won't get any recordings if you don't have a subscription (paid or trial).  Can you confirm that all three of the cameras are still in the trial subscription.

When you say they "won't stream any video", do you mean that there is no recording?  Or that you cannot livestream the camera?

Actually, they have a four month trial that ends in July for all three cameras.

When the two cameras do not record, I cannot livestream, either, meaning I cannot connect.  The connection test always works.

Try swapping one of the problem cameras with the one that is working.  Then see if the problem stays with the location or whether it moves with the camera.

I did swapped two cameras, one of the "bad" ones with the good one.  The problem followed the camera.  Temperature sensitivity seems to be the issue.  At 60 degrees this morning, I was unable to connect to the two "bad" cameras.  I was able to connect to the "good" camera.  at 70 degrees, I was able to connect to all three.

This temperature sensitivity issue is consistent day after day.
