I purchased Essential Spotlight Wireless Wifi Camera for my workshop to place on my CNC Machine to keep an eye on it while it runs and im not there and the workshop is approx 300 yards from my home. I have 5g and also 2.4g networks in my workshop via Ubiquiti Nano M5 Point 2 Point Connection and have really good service. I am able to connect my camera to the router when i am in my home but not able to connect the camera toi the network when i am in the workshop. Why is this? This camera should connect to the 2.4g wifi network even tho it is a P2P connection... Any ideas or advice on what to do to resolve this issue?

Is the SSID and password the same in the workshop as in the home? Have you tried removing the camera from your account and setting it up while in the workshop, connecting to your extender?

The home SSID is Different than the SSID the camera are connecting to. it is like a secondary network which has 5g and also a 2.4g connection. I am able to connect directly to the home ssid 2.4g but not the workshop.
Yes i have removed the device and tried reinstalling it to the proper network while in the workshop but it would not connect. It has something to do with the NanoStation M5 P2P connection. It seems that since this is a wifi camera it should connect to the wifi as long as it is a 2.4g connection.

I am able to connect the camera to the 2.4g network directly inside my home which is directly to the router. But that's not where this camera is going. I have a Point 2 Point connection from the router in the home going to our farm and my workshop which is where this camera is going. This connection is via NanoSystem M5 connection which has a 5g as well as a 2.4g which i am able to connect any phone or computer to but i can not get the camera to recognize the network...?

Just to clarify - can you connect your phone and the computer to the M5 wifi at the same time?
The Nano M5 has the point-2-point that reaches your router, and also should have a client-side network that you connect your devices too. Basically it is a specialized wifi extender (that works at a long range). Is there something here I am missing???
You should be able to set up the farm/workshop wifi to match the network name and password you have in your home. If you do that, then you should be able to onboard in your home, and simply move the camera to the workshop - it ought to reconnect.
Alternatively, you could try setting up a guest network in your home that has the same network name and password you are using in the workshop. Then you could set up on that guest network, and similarly move the camera to the workshop.
