Disable popup notification on Android?

I searched this forum and didn't find an answer to this particular problem.
I recently had an issue with Arlo notifications that I couldn't correct, so I decided to uninstall, then reinstall the Arlo app on my Pixel 7 phone.
Every seemed fine after that, but it brought a new problem.
Now, every time I receive a notification, I also get an intrusive popup on my phone's screen, that appears over top of everything else.
I can't for the life of me see where to turn these popups off.
Can anyone give me a clue? TIA

It would help if we knew what the pop-up message is as well as whether you're using the old user interface (UI) that uses Library to view videos or the new one that uses Feed.
