Arlo essential not charging

Hi

 

I bought an arlo essential 3 pack and the doorbell.

 

for two of the cameras I am unable to charge then despite having used around 5 hours of time trying to get them to do so. for the one camera and doorbell there are no issues.

 

I have tried to change charging cables, power adaptors, removing and adding the device again, I have tried resyncing. 

when the two not working cameras are plugged in they do emit the blue flashing lights and I can feel the power adaptor generating a little heat.

 

I am super frustrated by having to use some much time on something that should be plug n play - what to do?

Have you managed to add all three cameras to your account?

 

Charging batteries can take a long time if you’re using a low capacity adapter. Ideal adapter is a 5vdc 2A.

 

 If you’re relying on the arlo app to indicate battery capacity then compare with the arlo mobile app rather than the arlo web portal/website login as it has not working correctly for some.

Faulty product - returned it - the store could not make it work either.
