I work at an office where the Arlo Video Doorbell Wire-Free is used. The owner shared the device with my Arlo account (and I approved), but the device doesn't show up in my app (iOS 17.4, iPhone 15 Pro) despite me getting all the notifications. I can even click the notifications and thereby see the recording that it notified me about, but the device, recordings etc. doesn't show up in the app itself. I also checked on the Arlo website, it doesn't show up there either.

I had the Arlo account already when the device was shared with me, as I used to have Arlo cameras at my house a few years back, so I assume there's some conflict between how my account was back then and whatever is the current Arlo backend technical interaction now (that's just my guess). However I haven't been able to find any solutions so far, so please help!

Does your account show an menu option for "Library" ?  Or does it show "Feed" and "Dashboard" instead?

Check with the owner on whether their app shows "Library" or "Feed".

Both accounts need to match - either both showing "Feed" or both showing "Library".

It is possible to migrate an account from "Library" to "Feed" by going into "add device" and starting to add a Pro 5s camera.  Note you do NOT need to have this camera.  The workflow can't be completed, but it will migrate you to "Feed" before it fails.

Once an account is on "Feed", it is not possible to switch back to "Library".

Thank you, my app showed as "Library" and your proposed solution fixed my issue.
