Arlo essential XL spotlight cameras

I have 2 arlo essential xl spotlight cameras. Both cameras have lost battery power. Nether one will charge when I plug in. Both cameras are WiFi connected directly to router. The only light that eventually comes on when I plug in are the IR camera small lights. I am using the power cords that came with both cameras. Alternating just to get some response. Reset does nothing. No blue lights. Both cameras are 1st generation. 1 year old. Help. Frustrating

Is it possible to try with another power adapter and cable? It's not likely both cameras have battery issues at the same time.
