Hi we had this with a Verisure account among with a Arlo door bell. We terminated Verisure. And now have an Arlo subscription. Was able to add my door bell quite easily. But the essential camera is impossible. I have tried resetting the device, used a WiFi extender to offer a 2.4ghz network, ensured other setting such as auto login or no vpn all set right but no luck. It chimes after reading the qr code but isn’t able to connect after and times out. Any help or advice?

I have the same issue some others have raised :
1. I had a verisure account in the past and terminated later.
2. I then bought a arlo security camera , and tried to install via my arlo account.
3. I followed all the installation guidelines such as 2.4 ghtz network, optimal distance , chime heard , clicked the pairing button etc.
4. Every time Arlo gives a response that there is no camera found.
How do I resolve this ? If I am not able to fix this , I will have to return the camera quickly.

After you hear the chime, are you seeing the camera in the router's attached device list?
It is very important to select the right camera model when you "add device". Can you tell us what camera model you have?

Ok, so that is the correct choice.
Are you seeing the camera in the attached device list after you hear the chime?

No, there is no cameras shown to select after the chime heard.
I mean, that's the whole issue that I am trying to get it fixed.

Well, I checked the devices in the router , I couldn't find the arlo camera there. Inaddition , when I repeated the process of adding the camer , after clicking the pairing button now the camera itself is not identified via QR code. No chime heard. This looks to be new , because previously I could hear the chime.
Is the camera faulty ???

I will be returning the camera since I am not able to solve this , and neither the support community can help.
