I'm having difficulty getting the cameras to connect to the wifi.

I've already troubleshooted the cameras from holding it down 15sec to holding to 30sec for the factory reset.

Made sure the cameras were fully charged - stayed within range of the wifi router, I'm literally a foot next to it and it won't connect

On most attempts - after the camera scans the code, after a couple blue blinks, it'll turn off - not even doing the full '2 minutes'

I've only gotten 1 camera to connect and my other 3 have been a no go.

I've been at this for a couple days already trying out other people's ideas but nothing

Generally best not to be that close - you will sometimes overload the camera radio with too much signal when you do that.  5-6 feet away is better.

Is the camera chiming when it scans?

I suggest trying to onboard with a PC (my.arlo.com) instead of the app.

Also, make sure you specify the Arlo Essential Spotlight when you add device - choosing Arlo Essential won't work.
