Arlo Essential camera with spotlight stopped recording, and spotlight won't stay on when detecting motion. I believe these issues might be related?

Try removing and reconnecting the camera in your account.

How long have you had the camera? Arlo Essential Spotlight comes with a 3-month trial to Arlo Smart. An Arlo Smart subscription is required for content to be saved to the cloud. Do you have an active Arlo Smart subscription?

That would affect the spotlight as well? It doesn't stay on when detecting motion, just flashes.

No I don't have a subscription, didn't know that one camera needed one. That sucks. Might have to rethink using that one, then.
