VMC2030B-100NAS is not on your model list. I am having trouble when I get to the step when it is trying to locate my Arlo cameras. Can someone help?

If the app can't find it, then perhaps try a PC browser (my.arlo.com).

Castelli,
Could you provide more details? What happens when you attempt setup? At what point do you experience an issue?

i do everything it says to do to pair with my network. Barcode works fine and i go to next screen where it looks for the camera. Nothing happens after the blue light goes to orange and stops working?

If you are using your phone, then try using my.arlo.com in a PC browser, and see if that works.

Thanks. I finally figured it out but now my internet for one of the cameras does not have full bars. Is there a reason that they only say to use 2G instead of 5G networks?

The cameras only have 2.4 gHz wifi. If the phone is connected at 5 gHz, there is sometimes and issue when discovering the camera. Though despite the FAQs, it generally will work, especially when the network name is the same for both both bands.
However, there are still cases where it is hard to on-board. The easiest next step is to switch to a PC if you were using the app - though some Arlo devices can only be on-boarded with the app.

@Audreanne May not be the problem but there have been several post that fixed this. They were selecting the wrong Essential camera since there are 3 selections. Also try on the web page my.arlo.com if you have not.
