I have the AVD 2001 "Wire free" doorbell. The installation went well, and I connected it with the wires to the existing door bell inside the house. It rings fine.
During installation there is mention of a Power kit (not included) that would allow the battery in the ARLO doorbell to trickle charge.
Right now, I need to manually remove the battery every week or so to charge it up.....pretty stupid.
My understanding is that the power kit allows for "trickle charging" of the battery so that I don't have to manually remove battery and charge....BUT NO ONE SELLS THE POWER KIT. WHAT options do I have?
HELP ....

The power kit only applies to the AVD1001 doorbell, not the AVD2001.
No idea why you'd see that in the AVD2001 onboarding.
What are the specs for the transformer you have connected to the circuit (Vac and VA or amps)?

Have you measured the voltage at the doorbell? Note it needs to be AC, not DC.
It's possible something is wrong with the camera - if you are still in the return window, try exchanging it with the seller.
