Arlo Pro 4 XL Camera Mounts

I purchased the Arlo Pro 4 XL 3 pack from Costco which included Adjustable Short Mount (VMA1001-11100S).   After tightening the position locking screw, the camera does not hold it's position.  After a couple of hours, the camera droops down.  Looking at old posts, this seems to be a common issue, but I could not find the resolution.  Does anyone have a resolution?  I like the extended battery, but the weight is too heavy for the mount.  I am at the point of returning the Arlo Pro 4 XL package to Costco.

Within reason, you should be able to tighten the screw.

I have tighten the screw as much as possible by hand.  If I use a tool, I probably would break the plastic.

My own Arlo mounts do hold position with the XL.  Though I have seen some other users complain about this.

Probably the simpliest thing to do is purchase another mount (it doesn't need to be Arlo, as the screw threads on the camera are standard).
