I have 2 essential indoor cameras that keep go offline within 24 hrs they are permanently plugged in and one is next to router. I have 13 cameras of various arlo models and these are the only ones I have issue with. I have to unplug and plug them back in every time I need them to work.

The development team is currently investigating a recent firmware release that has resulted in a small number of users experiencing intermittent offline behavior. We will continue to work with users who experience this issue by rolling back this firmware update to alleviate the offline symptoms. We apologize for any frustration this issue has caused and hope to provide a full resolution soon.

This has also happened to me recently. 4 Arlo essential indoor cameras connected to wifi that go offline roughly every 24 hours in the last month or 2. Worked perfectly for 6 months prior to that. We have about 9 other Arlo devices all connected to wifi that all work perfectly. I’ve tried everything I can think of (hard resets, various wifi network settings and configuration) without success. As others have suggested this points to a firmware issue. Request that Arlo please investigate and fix as seems issue is affecting many users.

Thank you for the update. Has the firmware already been rolled back? I've restarted my cameras but they still remain on the same version. Is there anything I should do to roll them back?

Hi timo,
2 of my 3 essential indoor camera received the rolled back firmware last night. The other one was, like yours offline. I’m guessing the updates are sent out once a day. So try and keep your camera online and it should happen within the next 24 hours.

I’ve had Arlo for nearly 10 years now and have always had random issues but this one is now becoming the norm. My set up is fine. All cameras have been reset and work fine. From
one day to the next, from one hour to the next, they will randomly show up as “offline” then half an hour later it’s back online. they record when they want to, the cams sees when they wants to, there is zero consistency with Arlo and I’ve given up getting consistent camera security from them. I just use them to watch wildlife, and even then with the sensitivity set hi it acknowledges movement and records only when it wants to.
most likely I’ll be tossing these in the trash as they fail and using the other system (other brand) exclusively. in no way will I replace them with another Arlo cam as long as this random bs happens and those days won’t ever happen with this company.
