My recordings show on backlog but will not allow me to play them back.

Do you mean the Feed page?
Are you trying to play them back on a PC or in the mobile app? If the PC is old, then it might not be capable of playing back 2K HEVC video in the browser.

Do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" in the app menu? Or do you instead see "Library"?
What exacty happens when you select one of the recordings for playback?

I use the feed button. Arlo picks up motion and when I go to feed and select most recent one it usually just plays it. Now it does nothing. I then select the play button and the circle of death comes up.

Do you have a subscription? Or are you looking at the local storage tab?
Is the phone connected to your home wifi? Or are you using mobile data?
Can you livestream the camera?

I have a subscription and it is paid up. I am on WiFi. It shows connected and it is picking up motion and saving them to app. I just can’t play them.

I powered phone down and back on and all good now.
