Just checking on when you people will get the live streaming problem resolved because it's been over 3 months?! None of my 7 cameras work! Since you haven't figured it out by now, and because there is silence on the issue, it seems like you're planning on having it slide without resolution. Please advise because I'm about ready to drop Arlo to get a system from another company and file a law suit against Arlo.

Mine all do, so this is not a general problem - it is specific to you.  Have you contacted support?

If not, maybe start by giving more details here - what camera models you have, whether you have a subscription or not, whether you are still getting motion recordings, etc.

It's not specific to me.

Arlo essential 2 cameras

"Live streaming failed", each camera shows live feed for a few minutes then goes blank with the error message.

Paid subscription

using same wifi for several years, never a previous problem

Arlo support says it's a problem on their end and that it is affecting numerous clients and their engineering team is working on it, but I was inquiring here to see what others are experiencing.

Are you seeing this on the app or web browser?

Error message is seen on Arlo app on Android phone that worked properly for years and now has the problem. I removed and reinstalled the arlo app and removed and reinstalled all the cameras and all cameras loaded software updates.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing when you are trying to live stream?

All cameras scroll for several minutes, indicating connecting, then streaming failed

Have you tried moving one of the camera indoors, perhaps about 10-12 feet from the wifi?  Then see if you get the same symptom.

I realize you haven't changed the wifi, but I still think it would be a useful test.

No I haven't tried moving the cameras indoors within 10 ft of the wifi but I've had to do this before for every camera when initially setting up to pair and sync with the wifi. I suppose I could try that again to initially setup. However, I've already indicated that I removed and readded each camera. When readded, it goes through a pairing and sync process and this occured successfully for each camera, so what good would it do to do it again. All this is a complete waste of my time and no one here is any guru, as your all just guessing and throwing out things to try. I appreciate the suggestions but I want real permanent solutions, not guessing games. Also, Arlo tech support says it's a known widespread problem and their engineering is working on it, but I think that's BS because it's been over 3 months and they haven't figured it out yet!

Anyone got a solid fix for "live streaming" failed problem.

I have the development team looking into this. I will update the community as soon as possible.

Can BrookeN please get the arlo engineering development team to start communicating what they are actually doing to address and resolve the "failed live streaming* problem?! There isn't ever any communication or feedback from them, so it appears they aren't working on it or don't know what is causing the problem. They should communicate to users because it's been 4 months now since early March that this has been going on. There should be some sort of software fix or replace all 7 of my cameras, free of charge to me, and let's try everything over again from scratch. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF WAITING! I feel like if I got access to everything, that I could probably fix the dam problem myself! How much longer are they going to need, days, weeks, months or years? Please advise. Thank you.

Are you still seeing the failed live streaming error on your account?

I'm still experiencing live streaming failures with all 6 of my essential 2 spotlight cameras and doorbell camera. I've had technical support from Verizon my ISP. After changing multiple suggested IP settings in the Verizon router there wasn't any improvements. I added a Verizon extender, separated 2.4G and 5G using unique names, created a guest network exclusively for Arlo devices, reloaded Arlo app, removed and added back cameras multiple times, moved router and extender around multiple times, yet the problem persists with the arlo cameras. In addition, everything worked fine for about 2 years with the same ISP setup but now there are problems. Verizon says it's an Arlo issue. So please advise and please fix.

This should now be resolved. Please make sure you are on the current web 6.44.0.

How do I get 6.44.0 ?

I removed the app and reloaded it and it indicates the same as before, 6.43.1

Please advise and please resolve.....

@BrookeN said the WEB CLIENT should be 6.44. I looked yesterday and saw mine was still showing 6.43 so I simply refreshed the page. The version then showed 6.44.

Web client? What is this and What do you mean, chrome? Where do I find the web client version? When you people indicate to try something you should explain what and where it is

my.arlo.com

If I go to my.arlo.com it brings me to plans and billing. If I click in top right it shows my devices which brings me to the Arlo app I already have installed. If I click the person in top left for settings, about is at the bottom and as I've indicated previously, the version indicates, 6.43.1 (Sept 1, 2026)

Also, as I previously indicated, when I refresh or remove the app and add it back, there are no changes, it's still 6.43.1, not 6.44

So, what now? Please advise and please resolve.

You need to run my.arlo.com on a PC if you want to livestream from there.

No idea why @BrookeN talked about the web client.

Do you have a PC you can try?

I have a tablet that I'll try again but live streaming failed there as well. Are you indicating that live streaming doesn't work on the arlo phone app any longer?

Not at all.

I was saying that

  1. the web client version only applies to my.arlo.com running on a PC
  2. that it would be useful to know if the livestreaming problem also happened using a PC browser.

As already indicated, live streaming still failed on a tablet versus phone, so there is a problem
