Standby split armhome

I have 2 second gen essential cams. How do I arm one and put the other on standby?

There are three options

1. manually turn the camera off in the device settings (turning it on again when you want to re-arm it)
2. temporarily edit the mode you are using to remove the camera from the mode when you want to disarm it.  (adding it back when you want to re-arm it).
3. edit the modes to repurpose them

The challenge with (3) is that there are four possibilties

1. both cameras armed
2. camera A armed and camera B disarmed
3. camera A disarmed and camera B armed
4. both cameras disarmed

Since you only have 3 modes to work with, you'd need to give up at least one of these possibilities.  For instance, you can

• set up Armed Away as (1)
• set up Armed Home as (2)
• Set up Standby as (3)

And manually turn a camera off when you want them both disarmed.
